Removing Old Silicone Polish (Prep for MM Wood Polish)

Silicone-based polishes (most spray "furniture polish" brands) leave a film that sits on top of the wood instead of absorbing in. That film has to come off first, or the MM oil/vinegar polish will bead up, streak, or turn cloudy instead of soaking in.
